Keep Hope Alive … And Express Confidence That It Will Always Live And Not Die

Hope, like faith and love, is intended to be something that emboldens our faith and engages fearless love.

The apostle Paul made this abundantly clear to us in 1 Corinthians 13:13, “Three things will last forever: faith, hope, and love-and the greatest of these is love.” These great realities will always endure and thus we are enabled to live powerfully … there is nothing that can come against us, and no one can stand in His way!

These are words of life, and they should encourage us in times of great difficulty, when it would be very easy for us to become despondent and filled with despair.

Our task is simply this ….

Keep Hope Alive … And Express Confidence That It Will Always Live And Not Die

Kyle Blevins in his article, “Why Faith, Hope, and Love Are So Important and Will Last Forever” declares this to us, “Without hope, we stop standing when difficult tomorrows attempt to push us down. Without hope our joy fades, identity disappears, and all that we value becomes meaningless.”

These losses take away our faith foundation, our future and leave us wide open to being consumed with fear.

Clearly, we will need to take on the challenge to “keep hope alive”.

Keep Hope Alive … And Express Confidence That It Will Always Live And Not Die

Here are some things that I know about hope …

▪ we can expect it to be severely challenged in troubled times
▪ we can enter in without doubting or questioning why
▪ we can engage knowing that in Him everything will always be fine

These things nurture a confident hope … one that will not grow weary or weak.

The enemy will undoubtedly fight against us constantly and seek to deconstruct God-like faith, diminish God-inspired love and devour God-focused hope.

Knowing this, I want to encourage you to harness your heart to hope!

Keep Hope Alive … And Express Confidence That It Will Always Live And Not Die

Knowing that we can possess a living hope … a hope that cannot be destroyed by the hand of man nor diminished by the challenges of life … truly changes everything.

What a promise!

I know this is what I am aiming for … and you?

Say yes to this!!
