Living to make an impact is a noble claim to make … but not one that we can manage on our own.

In fact, history confirms to us that those who succeed here pay a high price to do so. Personal sacrifice is always challenged on every level and though the cost is heavy, the reward that can be gained is huge.

Clearly, we can see that there are many problems and challenges in our world today. As individuals and families who love God, we must be willing to take responsibility for our part in our world. If each of us does our part, it won’t be long before our world changes for the better!

When I think about how best to impact today’s world, here is what my heart speaks to me …

In his article, “What It Means To Love Fiercely”, Pastor Jeff Struecker, reminds us of these words in Matthew 22:37-40, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important command. The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commands.”

Simply stated this means that “Jesus is calling His people to have a strong love for Him, to have the love for Him that He’s worthy of.” The truth is that loving fiercely is just loving the thing that deserves your love with the greatest love, giving it what it deserves. When you’re loving God fiercely, you’re giving Him everything that you’ve got.

This is the high price that we have to pay and the personal sacrifice that must be made!

The end result is that “fearless love” will motivate us to “faithful living”!
In taking on the former, you gain the latter … how great is that!

▪ sincere expressions that are always urgently needed

A life compelled by love … best represents the heart of our God.
